Rehabilitation at University Medical Center of El Paso
University Medical Center of El Paso’s Rehabilitative Services Department provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology services to patients with impaired mobility, communication, or difficulty doing daily activities. The department works with disabled individuals to help them attain maximum function and independence.
Our team of experienced, licensed therapists is dedicated to providing high quality, comprehensive rehabilitation to both inpatients and outpatients with a variety of diagnoses. We offer rehabilitation for patients suffering from traumatic injuries; orthopedic and neurological conditions; hand injuries; wounds and burns; work-related injuries; sports injuries; and many other conditions..
In addition to our main hospital location, we have an outpatient satellite clinic on El Paso's Eastside.
Eastside Center
University Medical Center of El Paso CAREs Rehabilitation Center, located at 8360 Burnham just off of Lee Trevino Blvd., is our 10,000 sq.ft. outpatient satellite facility, with state-of-the-art strengthening and cardiovascular exercise equipment as well as a large therapeutic swimming pool. Specialty programs offered at this clinic include industrial rehabilitation/ work conditioning; aquatic therapy; and women’s health, including urinary incontinence and pelvic pain.
